The tradition of the Summer Boating on the Swan Lake that was built up in 1873 has been revived after a twenty years long break. In the past the lake was the meeting point for concerts and ballet dancing shows belonging to the oldest classical music festival in central Europe Hudobné leto (Music Summer). The almost 100 feet high red cypress that is growing from the centre of the lake makes this place even more romantic. The Swan Lake which is just 160 feet far from the PARKHOTEL** na Baračke is the place where you forget your worries and enjoy the feel of the spa town Trenčianske Teplice. Near the lake, there is a playground for children. Since July 5th 2008 six boats on the lake (each for four persons) are available for you to rent.
The opening hours by good weather conditions are: at the weekdays 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. and on weekends 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. The boat rental price is 150 Sk/30 min.
